Since I posted about using Grok Bot to buy things with my credit card, so many people have been asking whether it’s actually safe What’s actually strange to me is that for decades, people have been handing their credit cards to complete strangers at restaurants. Someone takes your card, walks away with it, swipes it through a machine, processes your payment, and brings it back And most people don’t even think twice about it We live in a digital world where software already handles enormous amounts of financial transactions every single day Tbh these days is actually more safer to let AI/SI do the shopping for you then you doing the shopping for you with AI/SI agents, you can sandbox them, give them limited permissions, and have them ask for your approval before making important decisions…. These days the latest models are really good at understanding the real world and they’re extremely cautious about the things that they do for you From what I’ve personally experienced with Grok Bot, it’s actually extraordinary how cautious it is when handling these tasks If something is expensive or really needs your attention, it simply pauses for a moment and asks you what you want to do. It gives you a few simple options, you choose what you want, and the final decision is still yours where you have to make And all of this happens without you having to go through the entire hassle of shopping yourself I’ve personally watched how carefully Grok Bot handles these things, and I’m really impressed by it Even Elon said that if Grok Bot makes a mistake with your purchase, they’ll make you whole That tells you how much confidence the team has in what they have built…. and it is really amazing. I just run out of limits every single week because I’ve been using it so much The interesting part is Grok Bot actually does a better job shopping than you in many situations Think about how often you open shopping website to buy something, see some random banner or attractive advertisement, and suddenly you’re looking at three other things you never even needed 😂 This happens all the time with online shopping These websites are absolutely filled with advertisements designed to grab your attention and get you to buy more things But Grok Bot can actually research what you need, compare products, find better deals, and save you a lot of money instead of getting you distracted in that entire mess of advertising And the amount of time it saves is actually just ridiculous You don’t have to spend hours browsing different websites, comparing prices, going through endless product listings, filling out forms, and handling every single step of the purchase You just tell your Grok Bot what you want, and it handles so much of the work for you. And whenever something actually needs your attention, it simply asks It gets so much easier, and once you start using these Grok Bot for everyday tasks, you really begin to understand how incredibly useful it really is

Bro… it actually worked. I sent one text to my Grok @bot asking it to order the Ollyball Keepy Uppy, the indoor ball from Shark Tank. And now it’s sitting on my doorstep. I didn’t open a single website. I just told it what I wanted, and it literally took care of the rest. Watching that go from a text on my phone to an actual package at my door is pretty wild if you ask me. Good luck getting me to shop the old way again… I don’t think I’m ever going back to the traditional way of shopping ever again with Grok Bot at my fingertips.

It found the restaurant's number on its own, asked how flexible we were on time, what name to book under, and what callback number to give. Then it read everything back and waited for my OK before it dialed. One call covers every time that works for us, so there's no back and forth. When the call ends, it tells me what happened in plain English, quotes what the restaurant actually said, and offers to put the reservation on my calendar. If I don't have a calendar connected, it hands me a file that opens right in Apple Calendar. A Proposal: Grok Phone Grok Bot needs its own phone number to make and receive calls. I connected a calling service called ClawCall, and the free tier gave me 30 calls or 30 minutes to start. I have no connection to that company. It's just what I used. Once Grok Bot has a number, it stops being something you type to and becomes something that can actually get things done in the real world. @Grok you need an old tyme phone service, buddy. I built some guardrails. It never hands over a credit card or deposit info, never leaves voicemails unless you ask, makes one call at a time, and never calls on its own. And this isn't really about restaurants. Change a few words and the same bot can: - Book a haircut, a massage, or a dentist cleaning - Get a tee time or a court reservation - Check if a hotel has a room or will let you check in early - Schedule a car service or an oil change - Call around for quotes from a plumber, an electrician, or a caterer This is one of many ways I use Grok Bot to build businesses and make life easier. Grok Bot has improved so much lately. It's really a joy to use now! So fast and yet smart with understanding my intent.

My son loves basketball, and I want him to be able to practice at home… honestly we live in a small home, though, and I don’t want the constant sound of a bouncing ball disturbing our neighbors. So I sent my Grok Bot one text: “Order me the DribbleUp silent ball, best price, shipped to my home.” It compared prices, found the best deal, checked out with my card, and placed the order - $32.91 total w/ free shipping, arriving this Thursday. I didn’t open a shopping app or fill out a single form. I just wanted a quieter way for my son to work on his game, and my bot handled the shopping. Having your own AI bot take care of everyday things like this is pretty freakin cool. His ball is arriving soon and all I needed to do is send a text.

I don't give a damn what they say about @ElonMusk anymore. I just used his @Grok/@Bot combo to free myself from 25+ years of captivity to Adobe Premiere. I now have my OWN video editor that does what *I* want. 3-4 days of effort on my part. DAYS. And soon I'm gonna post the source code for free so anyone can download it and use @Grok/@Bot to modify it to their requirements. It may not work for you as is, but you can modify it. So if you want me to listen to your jealous evil rants about how Elon did this or Elon did that, fevered ravings from ugly minds about how horrible he is, you're going to have to do something for me at least as GOOD as freeing me from 25+ years in the clutches of Adobe. Otherwise you and your ravings are useless to me. Be at least as useful as @ElonMusk has been to me.

This is wild… I first subscribed to learn about Grok Bot, now it’s my personal agent that does so many works. My favorite use cases are booking appointments and solving taxes. I see more potential as it’s bringing more features. I honestly felt it is too slow to use when it first launched. Now.. it is wild.. it responds instantly! I’ve been using Grok Voice a lot lately and the access to Grok Bot has never been this easy from my Cybertruck. It even pulls up web browser! Just try Grok Bot if you haven’t..
